This handmade necklace made with bead and recycled brass. They are made by a combination of Patwa work and Dokra craft - old Indian crafts.
Dhokra (also spelt Dokra) is non–ferrous metal casting using the lost-wax casting technique, used in India for over 4,000 years and is still used. These handcrafted necklace help in revival of Dhokra craft and also provide work to rural women in Bankura District. Miharu is CRAFTMARK Certified for Dokra Craft
